Darth Vader's Headquarters

Pasadena, Ca:  Colorado Blvd.
Many of the buildings on Colorado Blvd, the main thoroughfare into Pasadena, have facades that were built in the 1920's. By the 1980's this part of the city had been abandoned for several years and was in disrepair. There were plans to raze the older buildings and create a new "modern" business district.....
Darth Vader's Headquarters
Some buildings on Colorado were replaced by these 2 "stealth" buildings. These buildings are completely uninviting with very few people walking near them. This is in contrast to the older buildings on the street where crowds of people walk, browse, eat and shop. Thankfully the plan to replace all of the historical buildings was never fulfilled and the area has had a major revival since the mid 90's.
ugh!

Neighborhood alien cult?

Pasadena, Ca
This home is in my neighborhood. Most of the homes in the area were built in the 1920's Mediterranean style post-war ranch style and the 1960's(style?).
This home is newly built....taking a dilapidated 60's home and adding this unfathomable structure. Even the pavement, gate and lighting are poorly done (aesthetically speaking). The building materials seem very cheap.
